We carefully package and ship native aquatic and wetland plants nationwide to ensure they arrive healthy and ready to plant. Orders are timed around weather and shipping conditions to protect plant quality, and each shipment is handled with care for reliable, on-time delivery to your project site.
Even small backyard ponds benefit from native aquatic and wetland plants. All orders of native aquatic plants are carefully packed for shipping. Each shipment is prepared with care to protect plant health and ensure the species arrive ready to thrive in their new pond, lake, or wetland home.
Even if the order is too large for a box, we've got it covered! Large orders can be prepared and shipped on pallets for delivery from Stonefly Aquatic Nursery to you or the jobsite. Each shipment is organized and secured to ensure plants arrive in excellent condition, ready for installation on large restoration sites, lakes, and wetland projects.
The summer heat can be detrimental for plants. When necessary, we use cooler packs and foam shipping coolers to ensure plants survive the trip from our nursery to your site. Typical months requiring this are June, July and August. Submerged species like eel grass and American floating pondweed are the species most often in need of cooler packs during summer shipping.
